I cant believe that this Terps game was not even televised here in MARYLAND. This was not some non-conference game against some small unknown school; this was NC State and it was HOMECOMING. And this is not the first time this has happened this season. Who can we complain to about this?

The N.C. State game was critical because it showed teh Terps can beat the teams they should. N.C. State, by the way, had lost some close games to good teams. And with VA Techs QBs hurting, they got a good shot in Blacksburg. ACC championship game is lining up for the Terps.

As for not having the game on TV, fans should be at the game. I sat there the entire time in the rain. Terp fans do not have the same dedication they have at Tennesee or Penn State.

I agree that ideally each fan should try to be there if possible, but not everybody can make it to college park for every game. This is no excuse for this game to not be on TV. You correctly point out that the game was critical... too bad noone outside of the stadium could watch it.

I watched it in the comfort of my dry living room on ESPN360. That is a free service for anyone with Verizon. Apparently, Comcast was demanding some kind of extortion from ESPN to carry it. Just another reason to ditch Comcast. By the way, Verizon also has ESPNU where MD played a couple of times earlier this year.

Was it not on Channel 20? Every time I have been at home for a game(MTSU,Clemson,Wake) I have watched it on channel 20. I don't have cable so I can't say what channel that might be on any cable carrier, and I live in Takoma Park (despite wherever it says under my name), so Baltimore is probably too far. I was at the game this week, so I can't say if it was on there, but probably was.

Dig out your rabbit ears and give it a shot (though the VT game is on ESPN.) I'll be in Blacksburg next week, so I don't need no stinkin' cable!

I am glad the Terps are back in the top 25 -- but it's hard to believe that Virginia isn't.

Can someone explain to me why the Terpies are rarely on TV? I mean I turn on the TV on any given Saturday afternoon and with basic digital cable can pick from about 12 games to watch, but none of them are MD. Even Comcast Sports, supposed home the Terps, doesn't carry them; nor does MASN.
It was a great game Saturday, but I couldn't see a minute of it.

Daily Horoscope for December 2

Capricorn

The Gemini Full Moon brings situations at work to a head; there may be a sudden event that shakes up the office, but you should be free and clear of any real trouble. The real issue is the one you have most likely been avoiding: what sort of state is your health in? Have you been buying larger pants each year for the past three or four years in a row? Is your idea of strenuous exercise scooping hard ice cream out of the carton? If so, it's time for some changes.
