College Football Preview...Notre Dame
HEAD COACH: Brian Kelly, 8-5 OFF. COORDINATOR: Charley Molnar DEF. COORDINATOR: Bob Diaco OFFENSE Although the Irish have two quarterbacks with playing experience - which is two more than they had a year ago at this time - the position remains a bit unsettled with the talented Dayne Crist and the savvy Tommy Rees reaching for the starting job.

Pretty good insight, when considering they don't have time to get in depth in research of every team in the country. The bottom line is that the Irish should be better than last year. They have more depth. The QB position is way better off than it was this time last year. We are loaded on the O line. We have a very good stable of recievers and TE's. We are however thin in the backfield. Help is on the way but they are more help in depth rather than talent. The D line is loaded and has more talent than any line since Holtz was pushing for a Championship. Our LB corp is deep and loaded with talent. The secondary is the most talented that we have had in years but they aren't deep and after the starters there is very little experience. Our kicking game will be sick. No worries there. I hope our punting will be better or I hope that we rarely care or need it. Go Irish!
