Kiper picks Kalil. Isn't there someone from this forum that put a lot of faith in Kipers decisions?

Who was that person?

Is Kalil who you want, Mags? The pick makes me sick.:(

Sure looks like it will be the pick, though, especially after cutting both guards.

What I want doesn't matter. It's what "I think" that Frazier/Speilmen/Ziggy are going to do. I'm also a firm believer that this year, the Vikings can't screw up this draft (unless we draft a kicker). We've got to many holes to fill. So if we go offense or defense, it doesn't matter. The Vikings just have to start somewhere!

I also hate to sound like a broken record, but it also depends on what happens in free-agency. Can't wait for that to start Tuesday.

This draft could get crazy real quick if a player drops to us that we didn't expect. The real picks are going to be in the 2nd and 3rd round.

Still don't think the vikings can sign big name free agents.

Why can't we sign big name free agents? If your rational is because we are a sub .500 team, then why would people sign with any team under .500? That would beam 1/3 of the team in the NFL would not be able to sign free agents. It also never stopped the Bengals from signing players.

Truth of the matter is that money talks.

Bengals sign the guys other teams didn't want. The free agents seem to be visiting the dreamier destinations first. We'll sign some free agents, put it will probably be out of what is left.

Nicks is gettin no interest to speak of. Vikes could be trying to sign him, if they wanted.

As nuch as it pains me to say it, I have to agree. No 1st tier players are going to come to Minnesota. We have no stadium, we donít have a proven QB, and essentially the team is a bottom feeder for years to come. And to top it off, Minnesota isn't a great environment to live in either. So why would anyone want to play for the Vikings?

I always like the look on Mel Kipers face when teams pick players other than what that clown predicted....
