WOW route running with Freeman how cool is that? I would like to know where is Chris Carter showing him a little something? However its very cool to have a guy like Freeman showing Harvin something & to have had Favre be his frist touchdown thrown to him . It was destiny hes a VIKING but funny how two ex packers come into his life/ fate is a funny thing - LOL > GO VIKINGS

Freeman was a very good receiver in his day, and it's good he was able to give the young kid some pointers. But what will Harvin do next? Harvin is so explosive, that after a few shots of "real-game" experience, he might find it difficult to get any meaningful coaching from guys that lack his physical talents. It might be better for Harvin to rely on his "blazing speed" and natural instincts. Taking time to try to "juke" defenders out might slow down his game, and ultimately, do him more harm than good. Watch out that you're not "overcoached" Percy.

Freeman's wisest statement was what money does to the young players. Money is power but not the power you need to be a pro!

Favre to Freeman was awesome the year the Packers won the Super Bowl. Hopefully history repeats itself with Favre to Harvin and a SB Title for the Vikes. No wonder Favre and Harvin have shown great chemistry early on.... Favre obviously knows that Harvin took part in Freeman's workouts and tutorials and Favre and Freeman are probably still good friends. If Harvin can put up Freeman's numbers, that would be sweet. GO VIKES!

yeah for whatever reason it seems that Favre has taken a special interest in Harvin which can only be good for Percy and for us. Brett is gonna set Percy on the road to greatness and if all goes well for us and Brett this season then maybe we get another season from him and we can see Percy in the Pro Bowl. I think Percy is a very bright kid and realizes that this is a very rare opportunity to play and learn from a qb like Favre. If they both stay healthy we will see a very dynamic combination before season's end prompting Favre and the Vikings to stay together for another yr.... fingers crossed !!!

For all the bad press Harvin got at the combine by failing that drug test, he sure hasn't made one wrong step since he put on his Viking jersey. I really like this kid, his skill set, and his attitude so far. He and Adrian for the next 10 years...it would be a joy to watch.

Pro Ball players should not be tested for marajuana. It is a legal drug and used and perscribed (in some states)for various ailments.

No Mercy Percy, this is going to be a very good year. Can you say rookie of the year, MVP, both on the same super bowl winning team. It is fun to dream, and reality is closer than we think SKOL

Most draft analysts predicted Harvin would get selected by the vikes, thus it's quite apparent that Freeman worked with Harvin just to "stick it" to the packers. What a traitor...I'm burning your jersey!

"Free" has always been one of my Fav Packers. Harvin could do a lot worse having him as a mentor. Like AD, if Harvin stays healthy he could make Vike fans forget all about Randy Moss.

Wonder if Freeman had anything to do with Harvin failing his drug test?

This is awesome. I still have my Freeman jersey from 1996 and met him once, really nice guy. glad he came back to retire a packer and it's nice to see that he is still involved in football teaching the rookie Harvin.

It's great to see Antonio Freeman helping the young fella. As a Vikings fan, I'll have to admit Freeman was a great reciever in Packer town along with Robert Brooks. They did torched my Vikings...

Would the Vikings like Mike Thompson to consult one day a week so that the Purple Gang would resemble a pro team? Sure seems like a lot of Packer Envy in the Viking camp! They really should carry Packer games in Mn. so the Viking's fans could watch pro football once a week. Any other Vikes that would benefit from the wisdom of current and former Packer greats??? Pathetic..........

Man, I hated Freeman - and Favre for that matter - then. Clearly, now, there is no one better to learn from than Freeman, for Harvin. He was something (yes, I live in GB and watched his entire career too;-) and had superb hands. He's the right teacher, no question. Favre also, and our receivers will learn lessons from him they will carry with them for the rest of their careers and hugely benefit from (did you ever consider that, Favre-hating imbeciles? Does what's best for this team - learning how to win - ever merit any consideration from you at all? It appears the answer is NO, doesn't it morons?). Your too wrapped up in endless stupidity and emotion to think clearly, isn't that right brain dead?

It was just one game, but Harvin contributed nicely. He could have a good career if he can remain injury free - that's a very BIG IF for Percy, however.
