Wisconsin has its work cut out for it. Evridge finally showed signs of being a QB, but against a weak defensive backfield that was piling the line. The team Evridge left was so scared of Fresno this year it cancelled its game. Fresno will be piling the line like Marshall did, but their defensive backs usually end up the NFL. So receivers will be open in one-on-one coverage, but only momentarily. Fresno has shut down most of the better BCS running games it has faced, except Reggie Bush in a very close game on the road. It may take that kind of a RB effort for Wisconsin to win this one...plus a breakout day by Evridge. Defensively, have to keep Bulldogs off the field. Their QB is possibly the worst they've had in 20 years as far as making plays, but he doesn't turn the ball over either. In that respect, the two offenses are very similar. Wisconsin needs to pile the line to have a chance of slowing bulldogs and hope the Bulldog QB doesn't connect on the long passes the way he did against Rutgers.
This Fresno State team is nothing like Marshall, and may be toughest opponent of the season, so we'll find out who Wisconsin is in this game. Win this game and national title hopes rise, lose and Wisconsin is out (for reference: see the year colorado beat nebraska and got passed over by nebraska for a bowl because fresno state beat colorado in the preseason)

I agree with the post above, Fresno is getting alot of attention but they can play. I could see if they played teams like hawaii did, but they actually have a decent schedule. We want the bigger schools to play us, if so many people think its an easy win then schedule us, but they dont because they know we have a chance just as good as theirs, if not better to win many of those games. We will play anyone, but the thing is will they play us?
