I'm for more sports & fewer statements. None of these guys is attending college on preaching scholarships.

If Tebow wants to proselytizing, he should get televangelism gig. That way, those who want to hear his views can tune in to him on Sundays, and the rest of us can watch college football without being preached to.

More sports. Fewer "statements."

None of these guys is attending college on a preaching scholarship.

Tim Tebow is only expanding the many ways he lives his faith. During the off season, he dedicates his time to helping those less fortunate in the world. His belief is God is his way of life. He does not preach to you only expresses his belief on his face. If you were to talk to him you would understand that he does not want to convert everyone but hiding his deep found faith would not be correct for him either.
If you cannot see a reference to a book and chapter of the Bible without feeling preached to, you have more to worry about than football games.

Good grief. What does eye-black with ANYTHING on it take away from football? Most of the eye-black is illegible anyway so why strain so hard to find something to upset you. People who claim that Tebow's eye-black is offensive are just looking for a reason to complain. If his should be removed it all should be. His eye-black letters are no different than any other players.

AND if you are so easily offended maybe you should stay home with your blinds pulled and your television off.

GROW UP!
