Officers who arrested player indicted on misconduct charges
Two Columbia police officers face charges of misconduct in office after they were accused of using excessive force when arresting a University of South Carolina football player this spring.

once those handcuffs go on, never take them off until the suspect is in jail and charges are completely filed. This is what happens when officers use force to effect an arrest and then let the suspect go after the incident free from charges. Its a tough lesson these too officers have learned the hard way. As for the USC player invovlved, at the age of 20 he had no business being where he was at that time of morning. When will USC start sending a clear message to its players about conduct?
