This is a very talented and humble young man, I have attended church with him for the last 12 to 14 years. I have seened him grow up and watched his struggles. His mother was a single parent and she had to battle bone cancer while she raised Micheal McCoy. We have attended the same church for many years. I have seen him play on the football field. This young man will become a very vauble asset to any team that is so lucky as to select him.
If I had to name anyone who is more suited and deserving of an opportunity to play in the NFL, this young man is the first person that comes to my mind. His mother and he prayed until today
she is now in remission from bone cancer. They live in a small home which had to be rehabed to make it fit to live, in which his mother stuggled to buy with little to no money. It is truly a miracle to see where he is today, given the circumstances under which he has grown up. He will be graduating from University of Alabama this May 8, 2010. This accomplishment is a testament to this young man's courage and spirit. He will be successful with what ever he tries to do after graduating. GOD's speed to him.
