ASU kept on trying; Oregon gave them something to emulate. Oregon was merciful, which was the right thing to do.

If I were Oregon I'd be ashamed giving up 34 points to Arkansas St.

did you watch the game? With 7 minutes left in the second quarter it was 50-3. Then they subbed everyone out and used back ups. How is it shameful to score 50 points in 23 minutes and only give up 3 points. The score doesn't even tell what actually happened in the game.

If the starters came out and they gave up 34 points that means they have no depth, which is a huge issue.

It gave freshmen and sophomores game time experience and that builds depth, you never take every starter out in a real game.

Oregon has a great coach in Kelly and seems to have great offenses. I am just saying they could reach the next level if they ever had great defense. If i'm wrong and you are right that they were playing all backups then maybe they do have a D. But I will keep my out for evidence, if they can stop USC, then Oregon can take on anyone this year.
