Interesting reading...this stuff on a city manager's residence. Where someone lives does not reflect the qualifications they possess...the experience, training, education and credentials. Does every manager, administrator, police officer, fireman, teacher or local restaurant or store owner need to live with the people they serve? Doesn't the city deserve the very best...regardless of where they hang their hats, take their showers, sleep and eat their meals? Joe Tanner is recognized throughout California as a highly professional city manager. He has performed well for the people of Vallejo too.
