Speaks "Volumn's" for the COACHING, and the ATTITUDES" of the players who have bought into the program at OSU.(The "Company Guys"). There are THOUSANDS of good football players in this country, and over a hundred div.1-A schools. The reason OSU is ALWAYS among the Best is "BECAUSE YOU WIN WITH PEOPLE".(Remember who said that?) "The People" includes the Coaches & Players.
Ever wonder why Michigan hasn't been very good lately? They DO have good athletes..........

I think what is the most impressive part of the fumbles they did have, is that most were in garbage time with backup players. That's just the lack of experience. The starting offensive team has done very well tucking the ball.

TP can you have your bro Chris Breezy (I heard you hate that comparison but yall favor hahaha) sing "Dueces" to the ESPN analysts when you BEAT DOWN Ark because they doubted when you BEAT DOWN the Duck!!!! Sports is about RESULTS not OPINIONS because as my St. Louis mom used to say "Like an a@ everyone has one! hahaha"

TP the above posters are correct. Preacher Daddy tried to buy Cam the kind of success OSU has EVERY YEAR! hahahaha

Go Buckeye from Ms. Buckeye-Raven!!!!!

Flabuck is right. The only two lost fumbles came against the second-team offense (Hyde and Crawford). That means the first-team offense hasn't lost a single fumble all season. That's a crazy statistic, and very impressive. Surprised it didn't get mentioned in the article.

This is one amazing stat that about 119 other D-1 teams would love to have. Every coach from pee wee's to the NFL talks about ball security and these guys are walking the walk in that regard. As we all know, typically if you put the ball on the ground or throw it to the guys with the other jerseys on, you're going to lose. Great job Bucks; keep it up for one more game and finish strong!

Big props to Herron, whom many thought should be riding pine. There is a method to Tressel's madness, and this is why guys like Herron who may not be the most physically gifted get playing time because they do the little things right. Hopefully Boom will return next year to continue his solid play in the backfield.

Ipredict that OSU will break its own 2 fumbles this coming 4th of Jan when they play a "good" team. GO BACKS instead of GO BUCS!!

As you stated, an unbelievable accomplishment by the starters. I would imagine that Tressel would not like to point out the second teamers gave up the fumbles. I think it all goes back to "the team, one team". GO BUCKS!!!

Tressel teams are fundlementally well coached. Tressell is a great coach, his only fault is that he his too conservative in big games! He coaches not to lose instead of coaching not to win. It is a sound stragedy against weak teams, burt when he plays teams that have better pesonnel than his Buckeyes, such as USC, FLA, LSU, it is a bad stragedy. I must admit though that stragedy beat a much more talented Miami in 2002. Tressel completely out-coached Coker. The pressure is on OSU and Tressell in the Sugar Bowl. Losing again to an SEC team in a Bowl game, would just prove to the Nation how over-rated the Buckeyes are! GO GATORS!!! GO SEC!!!

This article , just might jinx the Buckeyes in the Sugar Bowl. How many fumbles have the Buckeyes lost in their losing streak (I believe it is 10) against SEC teams in Bowl Gasmes! FLA BUCK are you nervous! Does the SEC scare you and you fellow Bukeye Fans? GO SEC!!!

I hate articles like this. Its like the printed version of an announcer saying, right before a kick, "this kicker has been perfect all season"...and then the kicker immediately misses. It also shows how Pryor has done an excellent job with the ball in his hands, but has been rather careless when passing it.

Gator Gary: Your jinx comment is indeed valid. However, what a pathetic life you must have that you live in Tampa, FL, but creep onto a Columbus, OH newspapers' site to bad mouth the papers' home team. It isn't as though this article had ANYTHING whatsoever to do with Florida or the SEC. There was never even a mention of Arkansas. Apparently two lost fumbles in a 12 game season is a difficult statistic to equal, considering 119 D-1A teams could not match that mark. I believe that would include EVERY SINGLE SEC team, would it not? If I'm not mistaken, didn't Florida have more lost fumbles and total fumbles in the first two games than Ohio State had in the entire season (with the majority of them from the center/qb exchange or in other words, unforced)? Just out of curiosity, how many of those bowls you mentioned were within 500 miles of Columbus, OH? Now tell me how many were played in SEC states, as virtual home games (e.g. the game versus LSU)? Perhaps your time would be better spent on a Florida/SEC based site. I'm sure there will be plenty to catch up, what with you are spending your time reading Buckeye articles and all...

Am I nervous about games that happened 4-50 years ago? No. Are you nervous that not only did you finish 7-5 and lost your coach, but your prized LB recruit just jumped ship and committed to OSU?
