An avid hunter is one who hides in the bushes and waits for that sweet young innocent animal to come around looking for food for their newly born youngsters and then blows there friggin head off or shoots them with an arrow from their powerful bow. So you can tell Joe B and every **** like him to stick it in his ****. And I will pray that he and his hunting buddies die one horrible and slow death.
Gee, I hope I have made myself perfectly clear you red-neck imbicels.

Wrong. There is no smoking gun. OSU skates by with a minimal penalty.

Starter or not, Miller is probably going to take snaps in every game this season. It's invaluable experience in an OSU season where, all things considered, expectations are about as low as they ever will be at Ohio State,(i.e. 9 wins).

While I agree about the Boeckman (proper spelling) comparison, most sports writers are complimenting the O-Line this year. That is why we need to use a young QB to gain experience and rely on the running game. Brewster is supposed to be a front runner for the Rimington Trophy. Mike Adams comes back after 5 games and is one of the better Tackles of the league. There is talent on the OL.
I agree! This year we need to line it up and play Woody ball control.... We have good running backs that can grind it out if we get some blocking up front. Throw it once in a while to keep the defense honest. The O-line is the key to this year.

Go Bucks! Beat Michigan!

Come on, guys! There will be no real football talk on these boards. You have to call somebody names and say stuff like DEATH PENALTY over and over.

Geesh.

I agree, in most part, Bauserman will probably not be the starter, certainly as the season wears on. A mobile QB is a must. That was Boeckmann's (sp) downfall. I do, however, find it amusing how many posters describe Bauserman with adjectives such as as "terrible", "stinks", "a lost puppy", etc. For that matter, you see these kinds of criticism directed at other athletes on the college/ professional level as well. Those choosing to degrade one's athletic ability on the college level and above should rethink their words. ANYONE wearing a uniform on that level, ESPECIALLY one who is awarded an athletic scholarship, deserves much more respect than that. THEY ARE GOOD, no doubt better than any one of those critics who hide behind a keyboard and judge their talents in such a negative overtone. Bauserman may not start, but would have no trouble making any one of you football wannabes look rather silly by running through, around, or passing over.
I'm not only defending Basuerman, but every college athlete. To say they "stink", or they're "terrible" only shows your ignorance.

There is no way baldie Joe starts. If you had one shot to coach THE OSU, you would not put your future in his hands- it's Miller Time unless Kenny G brings his A game. Go Bucks.

p.s.- Gator Gary too stupid for UF. Sounds like a USF or Jax u grad.

True - they probably deserve more respect and less criticism.

But everything is relative. Though these players are far better athletes than most of us here, they certainly can 'stink' when compared to other athletes at the same level.

The other quarterbacks are all better than Bauserman. I hope Fickell doesn't pull the "let's play him because he is a senior." I know Tressel pulled Boeckman for Pryor, but Pryor was much more mobile than Boeckman. Otherwise, Herron has started over Hall and Barry, even though they are better than Herron.
Hopefully Fickell will start the best quarterback there is, regardless of how old he is, or how young. And hopefully, the offense will be allowed to play to its's talents, instead of conservative and playing not to lose. I liked Tressel, but not his play-calling.

Just an observation but who is minding the store on last night's "Chuckie" interview with Pryor? Is ESPN all of a sudden not-so-pertinent to this whole story?

If you think the fans had anything to do with Pryor playing over Boeckman you are crazy. If Jim Tressel did anything, he played seniority over talent to the fans disapproval in many situations. Boeckman couldn't get it done when he didn't have insane WR's to throw to. Pryor was the better option. Bauserman was given the backup spot for one reason...he is smart and can relay signals in well. He is nothing close to even Boeckman. He is not a guy that can handle running an offense on a weekly basis. Bauserman looks like a lost puppy when he runs out on the field. That isn't what you want, especially when you don't have a lot of experience at WR. Not to mention he isn't mobile...AT ALL! You need someone that either has a laser arm (Graham-also not very mobile) or someone with a decent arm that can run and is athletic (Miller/Guiton). Not a guy who has an OK arm sometimes and wouldn't be able to move if an elephant was walking towards him.

No smoking gun? I would agree, it's smoking gun"S", not smoking gun.
1. A federal evidence bin full of OSU junk signed for money.
2. A coach admitting to lying.
3. A QB who confessed to taking thousands of dollars.
4. Etc, etc, etc, etc.

The NCAA is going to jam it up OSU's you know what just in time for the 2011 season. It is going to make what has gone on so far look tame. I hope everyone had enough fun in New Orleans last Christmas season to last them 3-4 years, because that is going to be how long it is before OSU sees another bowl game.

Braxton needs to play immediately. The End! If Old Man Bauserman was any good then he would have played QB over TP! Enough said!

The QB problem is a problem with one position that will soon be fixed with some great young recruits stepping up. If I were you I would be more worried about your issues...THE ENTIRE DEFENSE!
