when the head coach is defending the QB play every day but telling you he's making progress, is it the QB or the coach? Like last year, there is a highly qualified QB 0n the bench but the coach continues to play poor playing QB. Does the QB have a exclusive contract to play every play. Somebody at OSU needs to wake up. Obviously the coaches are asleep.

Joe B. is not going to cause any waves. He has a full scholarship and will take advantage of it. Get your education Joe and just suit up for the games. You'll get a good job upon graduation and have a fine life. I will be your mentor.

Hey guys, lay off.

Terrelle Pryor is a great athlete and he makes me look like crap at quarterback. He should be starting. He really, really should. He's a lot better than me. I'm just a big dumb baseball player who couldn't get out of A ball. I suck.

You also need to know that I'm not saying this because the offensive line is weak and I'm afraid of getting my neck broken when I drop back to pass. I'm also not saying this because I know how bad I'll look running Jim Tressel's offense that he stole from Joe Gibbs back in 1983.

I really think everything is great. Except me. I suck.

Like the coach is going to say, "Joe really hates the current situation and is willing to tell everyone how stupid he thinks this is". Why do they even bother to ask these questions or print the answer?
I agree! Ask a stupid question you get a stupid answer. This was basically the same answer JT gave when he benched Boeckman and was asked the same moronic question by the media. And I am sure that the previous years Big Ten player of the year really was peased his role sitting the pines behind TP after a few games into the season.

Are you serious??? Do you expect us to believe that a true competitor and experienced QB doesn't mins sitting on the bench watching your failing experiment?
You're as full of it as you are inexperienced. You cannot possibly expect anyone to buy your load of crap. Go back to being the yes man bobblehead you've always been !
What would you have him say, Bill? Would you have Joe join you in besmirching Terrell and questioning his own coach's judgment? I don't see how he's going to get into games any sooner doing that. I'd brown-nose a little, too, if it meant getting any playing time.

If there was evidence that there is a lot of politics and lies going on at OSU this has got to be it, what a load of crap. If Bauserman really feels that way, he's got to be on some really good drugs and is brain dead, because I've been in sports, I've known a lot of athletes, they'll darn near kill themselves to be the best, to get a chance to play, and to do anything they can to help the team. It's painful as hell to sit there and watch the ship go down and not be able to do anything about it. To say that he's Ok with this, is like saying he's Ok with losing. No way. Thanks Tressel for putting your little no-name QB coach up to this. I'm sure Saine was Ok with sitting on the bench most of the Purdue game while the offense was turning the ball over like crazy and couldn't buy a 3rd down conversion or get past the end zone.

I'd rather hear that from Bauserman than a coach. Coaches comments do not ring true.

I don't understand what you mean? Would you mind explaining?

It's not Tressel would care if he wasn't ok with that role. All he seems to care about is saving his own butt.

McMullen was my favorite! The guy almost brought us back against Michigan in 03 then they put Krenzel back in...

I believe that a lot of highly recruited QB's have come here only to be ignored or mishandled by us.
Zwick, Schoenhoft, McMullen etc. Highly rated QB's are being passed over for ones who just follow the Tressleball philosophy of manage the ball, kick a field goal and let the defense win.
It appears as though the staff is playing favorites....It appears clear that Saine is a beast who is very fast, can run through people and can catch and run, but it appears as though he isn't being given reps so Herron can stay the starter...herron is good, but he is small and can't run through a tackle. The same is suspected of Bauserman, yes he fumbled a snap as will happen when changes occur, but I suspect JT is afraid of what the fans will see....just like Saine, who is a beast but only touched the ball 7 times against Purdue.
