Are you serious??? Do you expect us to believe that a true competitor and experienced QB doesn't mins sitting on the bench watching your failing experiment?
You're as full of it as you are inexperienced. You cannot possibly expect anyone to buy your load of crap. Go back to being the yes man bobblehead you've always been !

Siciliano has to be out of his mind to even say that. Even the least experienced walk on would rather be playing rthan sitting.

Not sure I'm buying that statement, but what choice does he have at this juncture. Jt benched TB for much less, and Bauserman knows that, so he surely is not dumb enough to think at this point he is going to get playing time unless TP goes down by injury. I would think he has to be thinking to himself WTF!

I believe that a lot of highly recruited QB's have come here only to be ignored or mishandled by us.
Zwick, Schoenhoft, McMullen etc. Highly rated QB's are being passed over for ones who just follow the Tressleball philosophy of manage the ball, kick a field goal and let the defense win.
It appears as though the staff is playing favorites....It appears clear that Saine is a beast who is very fast, can run through people and can catch and run, but it appears as though he isn't being given reps so Herron can stay the starter...herron is good, but he is small and can't run through a tackle. The same is suspected of Bauserman, yes he fumbled a snap as will happen when changes occur, but I suspect JT is afraid of what the fans will see....just like Saine, who is a beast but only touched the ball 7 times against Purdue.

As the propaganda wheel keeps turning...yeah, I'm sure Bauserman is just fine and content going to practice everyday knowing the only way he plays is if Pryor gets injured. Makes perfectly good Tressle Talk. Another clue that Siciliano doesn't have a clue.

Now, let's give Siciliano his due....He was a H.S. QB who couldn't make it in D-3. It's not his fault though, JT plays the game of keeping those whom he likes regardless of their value...see "o" line coach!

Siciliano said. "Joe understands what his role is .."

Sure glad Joe does, because no one else knows.

It is not like JB can play either. Pryor is most likely the best option, even when he is playing poorly.

When Jim Sorgi signed a contract extension with the Colts to remain on the bench behind Peyton Manning I thought to myself, "what a loser."

If Joe Bauserman really feels content sitting on the bench behind a guy who is clearly a year or two away from being a solid quarterback, I have to conclude that Bauserman is a loser as well. I don't expect Joe to call a press conference and undermine the team like a collegiate T.O. but he shouldn't be happy about riding the pine behind somebody who is playing like crap.

Like the coach is going to say, "Joe really hates the current situation and is willing to tell everyone how stupid he thinks this is". Why do they even bother to ask these questions or print the answer?

OK, I'll ask...where do you get your info. You must have some inside info on Joe.
I am amazed that so many people say Joe can't play or Joe is slow and would get killed in the pocket.
I can only think of a handful of plays that Joe has been in on this year so I would like to know what this is based on.
I did see a fumbled snap this year as will hhappen from time to time when there is a timing change....I've also seen several from TP. It happens. I've seen some balls that were dropped and a couple that were errant, However, I've not seen a continuing array of wounded duck, put up for grabs junk that happens every week from TP.
Now I don't want to argue who is best because none of us know, but do not think the best player plays at OSU. That, my friend, is not always the case or TP never would have started last year.
Just watch what happens when Herron is healthy, he will start over Saine and that is insane.

Man i played Football at a CUSA school...UAB to be exact...(I think UAB plays OSU next year...) but any way...I know for a Fact when the starting Corner in front of me was getting BEAT on every play...during the season...it was pissing me off...the exploited his side so many times...Against Hawaii in the Hawaii bowl...that was painful to watch...coaches telling me all this CRAP...the funny thing was (he was a Highly recruited 2 or 3 star corner)...i laughed...and i focused on Graduating, which i did in 3 years with a BS in Information Systems. Guys the politics in College Football is so thick you can cut it with a Knife...Case in point, i was recruited to play Soccer also at other schools...the UAB Soccer coached invited me out to Try out...HE had a Guy named SAM J..es running and limping on the field...he runs as though he is limping..yes...running as though he is limping...i dont know if one foot was longer than the other...three others who never saw the playing field except in the final game of their SR year and it was with 10 mins left... but it was ridiculous when he said there is no spot for me....He said that GA State would be a better fit for my style of play ie he runs a 3-5-2 man to man scheme...yes basically running all over the field with there heads cut off...where as i play a 4-4-2 or 3-4-3 european style short to feet passes...BUT the POLITICS is OVER WHELMING...TRUST ME BAUSERMAN is PISSED but he is saying the right things... There is no way a competitor will sit back and see this CRAP going on and say he knows his role...especially when a year ago the pulled beckman after the USC game for TP...(do not get me wrong, i was one asking for beckman head because he did not see to understand that he has to scramble when the pocket collapse or throw the ball away)...NO TP looks Pathetic....

Valid points, look, without saying more than I want, I love watching football practices. I've watched a bunch. Art Schlichter for both Woody and Earl, Tomczak, Hoying, Graham, Tupa, Herbie, Stanley Jackson, Joe Germaine....who wasted time waiting for Stanley to become a complete QB...didn't happen, Krenzel, Mcmullen, Zwick, Smith, Schoenhoft, Bauserman, Pryor etc.
I've been a season ticket holder for over 20 years and get to the games early to watch the players in warm up. You really can see a lot of styles and work ethic.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, it can give one great insight and maybe a little perspective on what goes on behind the scenes.
Some coaches have tried to have closed practices but they never really keep everyone out. I've always worried about the ones who tried to keep everyone out...makes you suspicious.

I give Bauserman credit. Of course he wants to play -- if he didn't, he'd be wasting a uniform.
But I sense.....with no pretense of being an "insider"...there is enough s**t on the walls of that locker room that we have no knowledge of ---and Bauserman has too much class to add to it.

Boeckman kept his mouth shut for the good of the team last year too....and I would guess his true feelings were just the opposite...and has probably broken his ribs laughing at the situation right now.

Bauserman OK with role?! Yeah, sure. What else can he say. All of this obfuscation to avoid the obvious. JT`s contradictory behavior has to be eating at team moral. Many players were there when a QB who lead the team to a championship game was benched, and lost his job for a far less worse performance in ONE game than TP has produced game after game! If TP thinks this is lost on the players he`s fooling himself. The defense plays it`s heart out only to see the great TP go 3 and out, or throw an interception, or fumble and they are back on the field before they can catch their breath and regroup, adjust to what`s happening. A great team is in disarray because of Tressel`s contradictory standards. Until he applies the same standards to TP he applied to Boeckman - and QUICK - this team will will only get worse. This coddling of a prima donna who ISN`T performing will continue to destroy moral.

Maybe Siciliano can teach Bauserman how to use the video machine, since that was his Division I coaching experience prior to Ohio State.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no insider...I mean I have no access to what the coaches are saying in meetings and I don't really have access to players insight. what I have been able to do is see many practices. Not as many as before as there is an effort to keep people out.
My knowledge is only what I see and you can see a lot more in a practice or two a week, watching offense running it's plays the day they are working on plays for that particular week. When the players are already warmed up, having taken several snaps from the center they'll be running those plays with. It's a bit different than coming in cold, the last 50 seconds with a makeshift array of players that also just came into the game cold.
I wish I had the insiders advantage, I'd ask what in the world is the thought process going on here??
