The offense actually looked more like a big-time program under Bauserman than all that "high-school playground silliness" we've been seeing that will get us soundly beaten against any quality opponent

Did anybody expect otherwise? After the scoreless 1st Quarter yesterday I was starting to feel sick about next week's game in Sappy Valley. I think OSU's defense will play a good game and limit the PSU scoring while our offense will be horrible and ineffective. Even FGs won't be a given in the Red Zone, what with a shaky place kicker. Shudder.

"That wind took a couple balls," he said. "Overall, I think we did pretty good".

It's did pretty "well", not good. Come on, these are supposed to college students.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Pryor have a boo boo? Take off those heavy pads and get into your pajamas and turn on your mp3 and we will put some ben gay on that boo boo and make you feel better. And you are not allowed to play with those penn state bullies down the street because they are too rough and their dad is just an old meanie that has made those boys to be way too agressive. You got this boo boo from playing with the girls across the way so just think what boo boos you will get playing with those rough penn state boys.

Jim, I don't know what you were watching, but most of Bauserman's passes were 2 to 3 yards off target. He's a less accurate Todd Boeckman. I suggest you find and watch a replay of the second half and you'll see what I mean.

As i keep saying...OSU can only play against WEAKER OPPONENTS...Why he did not do this agains USC and PURDUE? Like i said he is a DONKEY...No sense of football thinking what so ever...Y use those tricks against the worst team in the Div 1? Y not use them against USC, Purdue, PENN St, IOWA or Mich...They can only Beat up on Weak teams...I cannot wait for us to win out(by LUCK, a ball bounce here and there for us...and we win the rest of our games) so that Oregon or Cincinnatti can "RAPE" us...

"Come on, get serious
What's this -- Ohio State's Jim Tressel calling for an onside kick and a flanker-reverse pass in the same game? What in the world would Woody Hayes think?

Hopefully, Hayes would be thinking, "That's shameful."

The idea that Tressel would pull both ploys -- both worked wonderfully, by the way -- in the same game is fine. But it's the opponent that's bothersome: New Mexico State.

Why the trickery against a bad New Mexico State team? That wasn't needed against the Aggies. Instead, why not save it until this Saturday, against Penn State --you know, a good opponent.

Weak, coach. Extremely weak."
