this kills me living in Southern California as I feel maybe the biggest Warrior fan out here. To see a 2-0 start turn into 5 losses and likely no bowl this year is a huge step backwards. I thought losing Alexander would hurt. It has. Then again the turnovers blew open this game after a 1st quarter of respectable defense. The run defense is horrible, huge gaps, poor tackling all signs of a bottom 10 defense.

I love Greg and this year clearly over. I expected some drop off due to heavy heavy graduation losses. It was not expected to fall apart like this. Correct me if I am wrong, but we seem to have good recruits coming in to improve this team by 2010. Please tell me I can hope.

The concern is in the past June could put in a number of quarterbacks due to injury and all could perform. Not now. Why are these backups seemingly not as prepared and ready to come in and make an impression like June could do with his stable?

Is the offensive line that bad? Does not seem so bad block running. The pass blocking is awful. I in years have not seen a powerful Run and Shoot get pounded and look so inept for 3 weeks now. Will we win another game? Navy will have 300 yards rushing when they play us

only if the hawaii can get their share of blue chip recruits. this is not going to happen. in all honesty, hawaii should move down a notch in level.

Seriously I can support Jim Donavon going out and getting Hal Mumme as the offensive coordinator

"Boise's a good football team and I thought we played with them physically, but they took advantage of our mistakes," McMackin said.

Do we have a coaching problem or not?

We had the idiot Virginia Hinshaw, the one with the Donald Trump hairdo, offer McMackin the 1.3 million when he's only worth $65,000 a year max, the same as a McDonalds Coach, now we are in trouble we are stuck with this looser for years, unless we buy out his contract, and with the UH and State in their financial woes that aint gonna happen.

Well folks expect the worse, we are in a recession with no chance of winning football games!

Dwain, how in heck can you say that? That is not the answer, I am scared about this program.

Remember 1998. I will never forget the agony. I also remember how crowds started dipping to 25 thousand and under. Do you notice only 33 last night? That is Boise yet...I am concerned in a couple years we will be abck to where we were until June saved this program. A fold or down to 1 double a. It should concern all of us Warrior Fans. Greg seems in denial. I watch him at times and listen and wonder does he know what he is doing or is he in over his head>

Trust me I want him to succeed. he is also 65. How will that help in recruiting?

Losing badly to garbage Louisiana tech, UNLV>

These teams have done nothing since.

I am sick of watching an offense that I fell in love and made me a huge fan, this poor.

What is the answer? Do we have a solid base in 2010 coming in?

Is there a QB Here that can play?

I order online, listen to the games and watch Jim when I can on TV

It is got to be killing them, the alumni, the fans and the players and coaches.

What do we do?

Mumme I agree totally with long as he IS NOT HEAD COACH

Would we reach a settlement with Greg, and try and get Jim Fassel, Denny Green with a big name and proven track record maybe even bring in a Terry Bowden, John Gruden or young coach that is hot somewere else right now in the college ranks?

Time to let the up coming players get in the game ang let them get the reps and experience for 2010. Offensive and defensive line are not producing.

This was a pretty dismal showing against an excellent football team. I said in an earlier post that even if we lose, if we can play them tough I would still come away happy. I think that, for the most part, the defense played their hearts out. They were just up against an offense that is well-oiled and plays almost flawlessly and they know how to capitalize on mistakes. Losing Bryant Moniz so early in the game was huge. But even with him in, our offense was just so inept and error-prone. Honestly, the defense outplayed the O, again. LWJ unfortunately, seems he will never live up to the hype we heard when he first came here. But one error I noticed in the article, Richard Torres is dead wrong when he says that the players are all alone. It may not seem so to him, but there are thousands of us fans out there who still believe in our guys and will support them through these hard times. Richard, I promise you, we're here and we're pulling for you guys.

Go Warriors!
