GW should consider benching Vasquez for a game. 2 for 14, 1 to 2 assist to turnover ratio. Horrible...and he is supposed to be a leader on this team? He needs to keep his mouth shut about the other players and start to look inward. I hate to say it, but GW's time may have run its course.

what a shame. they played hard but didnot execute at end. shooting was bad enuf, but what's with Vasquez only going to his right, only dribbling right? I recall last year he had both hands?

they should have taken the ball strong to the basket for the last shot. taking the 3 by vasquez was terrible. they choked!

Vasquez is the most maddening player MD has ever had.

And that's saying alot because we've been through alot, especially in the last few years.

The guy cannot play under control. He is forever forcing balls and shots. He's good for at least one blatant offensive foul a game.

Just because he has emotion doesn't offset his horrendous play.

He was 0 for 11 until he finally hit a few shots down the stretch.

This team is deficient in almost every area.

Gonna be a long year.

The only thing the terps lack is talent and someone to coach them!

Anyone else getting tired by Vasquez's play? I know he's only a sophomore, and has great ability, but I'd take Hayes playing over him anyday....much smarter, poised player...2 for 11? with a game high 6 turnovers? He needs to go on some chill pills and realize he is NOT the man!

Virginia Tech? American? Didn't this used to be Maryland basketball? Now they are getting beat by a nobody and a former Big Least gutterball team? This is sad.

"Doink" Vasquez does it again. He doesn't throw-up bricks, he's throws cinder blocks. At least he's consistant.
