i think weis is slowly building depth all around on this team. right now there in transition and might not be that great this year, but it wont take long before they have the depth of USC and MICH. as for the running back situation, it was a mistake for walker t leave and pulling thomas back from LB was smart move. these young RB need someone to show them the ropes much like Ron Powlus is doing for their QB.

I must have missed which NFL team Walker is playing. Is he a starter yet?

He's with Houston, trying to make the team.

Walker is a solid guy, but could never hit the hole. The O-line took a lot of heat because he did to much chopping in the backfield. Watch the films. Holes open quick and close quick. Four year starter at ND and didn't get drafted? There's a reason for that, hopefully these new faces can find the gap and exploit it.

Aldridge may miss his window if he can't get healthy...He has more talent than Thomas...but if Allen and Hughes are able to contribute and not fumble, they could turn into the 1-2 punch
Jabbie is a bit of a wild card at this point and should be used as a receiver more than a RB
WR is where ND needs to get better, not RB
