I like Urban at OSU better than Tressell, we are winning more of the recruiting battles now.

Right now, we have so many top notch recruits coming in that the recruiting battles you are winning are because those slots are filling up and they are concerned with playing time.`

Actually 2 of them have brothers there and they said that things are good, stay away. We are able to be picky, yall are having to take what you can get. You do have a db that we'd like to have that committed to ya. Guess we'll have to work on him.

Ohio St has never had to just "take what we can get." Need I remind you that we are 2nd historically for putting players in the NFL?

What I meant was getting players legally, you know, not paying them and all, tattoos, etc.
What I was also saying is that every player that we recruited that had a brother at Ohio State decided against going to Ohio State, I think there is more tension there than what is being written about, and I am not saying that isn't normal. New regime, culture, type of players being recruited. Just curious to see if Urban does what he did at Florida, if so, the death penalty could be right around the corner. He had the inmates running the prison there, and that is exactly what Ohio State has to change.

Urban is cracking down, there won't be a "death penalty" at OSU. Also Players weren't "getting paid" they were trading their own items for tattoos. OOHHH NOOOO call the FBI!

To say they weren't being paid would make you lose all credibility. The school never pays the players, boosters and over fans do. They were selling the celebrity that the University gave them. The problem that I had with it is that they all acted like they didn't know it was bad. If that is the case, why did they hide it and how was their memory wiped clean about the complicance classes that they have to attend. Getting a free meal, tattoo is illegal. I don't agree with it as a whole but I understand why they have the rules. Anyway, the whole point of what I was saying is that I think a lot less of Urban than I did before he got to Florida. I think he sold his soul and things got away from him and he didn't know how to stop it. If he thought the football culture at Florida was corrupt and hard to deal with, it's going to be a harder job at Ohio State because it is well documented there. He should have the tools now. I think he does have a chance to redeem himself if he is strick and cleans things up at Ohio State. There is a lot of cleaning to be done but it isn't impossible, it is also possible to win big there while running a clean program.
