Boilermakers' Painter makes the big plays without the mistakes

Curtis Painter threw for a couple of big plays. But just as important were the throws he didn't make.

Curtis and the Boilers have 2 more games to tune things up before the Big Ten season starts in Minn.(I do not want to say "tune up" in a disrespectful way. After App State no one should take any opponent lightly!)

After that game they have the 4 game stretch that will define the season.

Yeah, the Star needed the extra columns for IU's "big" win over ISU. Even though their fans didn't care about Coach Hep when he was healthy, apparently now they have nominated him for sainthood.
