Another one got away. That has been this year's story for Warrior football. Cincinnati, Utah St, and San Jose St. Coulda been a 10-3 season, but its still not bad at 7-6.

Aloha Seniors. Still one more game. Hopefully it will be Notre Dame. Awesome if they decide to come to Hawaii.

Hawaii leads all 120 Division 1-A teams in the nation in number of penalties and yards penalized: 114 penalties for 1028 yards. It is a trend that has continued from the 1st game against Florida to the 13th one against Cincinnati. Being No. 1 in this category is nothing to brag about. In fact, it's very embarassing. There are other areas of UH's game that are also undisciplined. I haven't followed UH really closely this season. But can anyone provide insight on this and it's negative impact?

Dear University of Hawaii and fans,
Thank you for allowing The University of Cincinnati football team and some of our fans to visit your Pacific Paradise. Our "overrated" football team appreciates the hospitality, the scenery and local customs, the luaus and the opportunity to come back from a 14 point deficit to kick your asses. Who's overrated?

dear bryan, you think your team is something special, playing in the big east that has lost many of its contending teams. your comments show what a real jerk you are. If you listened to the game, the commentator was saying how far cincinnati traveled. well if you had any knowledge of football, you would know hawaii travels farther than any other team. Yes, your team won, but the effects of this hard hitting game will not win you another. your team WILL get an ** kicking. enjoy bcs gift

Our O-line needs to be COMPLETELY revamped, even Estes (overrated). Their D-ends werent anything special but our guys (starting with Kia) was severely overmatched. Recruit heavy on the line and open up the competition next year. This line couldnt block a muggsy bogues layup!!

Hawaii had the game in the bag until they started showing the class team they are or in this case "no class team".
The mentality that the game was over when they were ahead showed how big headed this team can be.
The coaches and players just showed no control to win this one game on ESPN.
Stupid fouls, missed upportunities...lucky got the Aloha Bowl or no one would ever ask this team to play in their bowl.

You are overrated. And you were BE champs??? You were manhandled by a bad, no-class team and you had 1 yard of offense way into the 2nd half. I'd say that's overrated. You looked pitiful at times, as did we. We are not overrated because no one expected much from us this year anyway.

I am no longer a University football fan. With all the unnecessary personal fouls(5) committed by the UH players, they should rename themselves thugs instead of warriors. Win or lose is not important, but must play with a clean warrior spirit.

It wasn't luck, you fool. We were the lucky ones on offense, i.e., ball bounced off the pads right into receiver's hands. We caved and made foolish plays. We had luck on our side, but we gave it away.

It looked like a game of momentum. When we rolled, we rolled. When we sucked, we sucked. We did NOTHING on offense in the first half and 4th Q. Defense was super, except for all those damn penalties. Cheap shots. No class.

Yes, but I thought Mac/the team worked on that during the season and had improved. What happened during this last game? It all came back. It was embarrassing.

Bearcat fan here... you guys shut down our QB and the passing game. I'll give you props for that BUT we have one of the best DE's in the country in Connor Barwin. Give him some props too! Our seniors really stepped it up. Good game!

And this is the winner of the Big East and they had to struggle to beat an unranked team of no bodies............

Warriors played well but remember that The Big east is a weak league and Cincinnati lost its first string QB, best receiver, and one of its DE's. But in the end, it is just a reminder that the warriors cannot beat a good team at home or the road. Best they6 stay in the very weak WAC with a padded schedule. It feeds illusions.

Thugs is right and I have said the same thing many times. Mack is way overapid for a WAC coach. They are not a big league and the warriors are a very minior league team.
