lee has saved miles ass.without playing this kid we would have two defeats.miles and the press still has a love affair for jefferson.wish lee had gotten more playing time earlier to help him in future games.giving credit where its due seems unimportant and we cant huet jjs feelings!

I can see where Jefferson has his plays, but Lee is and should be the starting QB! Roles need to be reversed for success. Lee is the better QB and Jefferson can come in as a situational QB for option type plays.

We all know LSU is going to beat McNeese State this week... I personally would Start Lee and let him play the 1st half and then let Jefferson play the second half. Then review the tape and see who the more successfull QB was and be done with the argument!

I believe LSU can make a run for the National title, but we need this QB issue resolved now!

I know Lee is the better quarterback; and I've been saying that all year. I told my wife even when he was a freshman when he threw all those pick 6's, I thought Lee has a lot of talent. I even told her that I thought he was capable of being a superstar someday! I just saw potential in him, that’s all!  She just said he was color blind. He couldn't tell he was throwing to the other team for all those interceptions because he couldn’t tell they were not purple and gold, she told me. LOL…. I took it as a joke. But, I think she was serious. LOL :) I just thought he got thrown in there way too early because of our man from Harvard got that concussion in the Auburn game; and Lee threw his first pass that I believe was intercepted for a pick 6.:| But, he lead us back to a 26-21 victory over Auburn. I believe he threw 2 pick 6's in the Florida games and Georgia games too.......I believe 7 in all!:( It was an NCAA record for pick 6's. But, when he threw well, he threw better than anyone.......IF.....he threw to our receivers instead of the other team, that is! But, I thought he had potential. I told my wife two years ago (2008) that I thought he was gonna be really good........even when most people were about to kill the poor guy! I was upset with him. But, I did think he was really a good quarterback. He just got thrown in there too early.....didn't have a chance to mature. I'm glad he's gotten his chance; and I hope he is our primary quarterback, like you said, and use JJ for just certain situations. Starting Lee vs. McNeese State would be a great idea and letting JJ play the 2nd half would be a pretty good idea. I agree with you; and judge who played the best. Decide on the quarterback and be done with it. I think we're a dark horse for the national title. But we will need to settle on a quarterback to succeed though. I think and have always thought Lee could do it. But, I don't think JJ could ever take us to the promise land. IMO

Lee has a much quicker release and can look past the 1st receiver option. When he has any protection at all, he's deadly in the pocket. Jefferson is better on the scramble, but doesn't seem to be able to read defenses well(or Croaton won't let him).

jj can break plays to suit himself but they make lee play to a script that limits his thinking on the field.miles is determined that jj will play most in game.why is the question?lee takes team down field to score and is in rythem and the next series jj comes on.it seems like miles hates lee having sucess!auburn can score points and lsu will have to answer this.does anyone but miles believe jj can beat auburn?lee is why some of the heat has been taken off miles but this egotistical s.o.b.seems not to notice.same goes for his playing ford.
