UConn's putting at least one player a year in the NFL and that's good, but I'll tell what leaves me feeling hollow to this day -- that shellacking they took at the hands of Pitt before the bowl game. That told me they still have a level to go.

Look at the whole body of work. They trounced the eventual Big East champ Cincinnati and, despite having no passing attack, went to a bowl.
Things take time.
