Johnson's comments help explain, in part, this year's lack of performance. He is not focused on this being the worst season in Southern Miss football history. He does not appear to feel the pressure of legacy. His comments clearly indicate he has no idea how to coach a winning program.
The AD continues to allow this to happen. When it comes to the athletic and football leadership, this program has become the Island of misfit boys.
