Why not provide some security at these "home" games. The hurriclown fans showed they are classless last week during the FSU game, starting fights, breaking bottles on people's cars, and trying to smash in windshields. They are trash and should bring their parole officers to the game.

Excuse me TRASH!! Fights were started by smart ASS Seminole idiots who also got thrown out of the game in the first quarter. Don't even go there low life. Even going into the game they were mouthing off and half drunk. you don't go to someones house and start crap without retaliation if need be.

Agreed, the Hurricane fans are the most classless in College football. Ever since UM recruited players from the prisons back in in the 90s, the fans have taken on a thug mentality. The believe that by starting fights, spitting on the opposing team fans, throwing ice, etc, they are helping UM bring back the swagger. Regarding other comments, when Harris came in the 2nd quarter against FSU, Marve had done nothing at that point except throw an interception. Also, now we blame the defense- yesterday it was all Shield's fault for getting a 5 yard penalty on first down.

When you score 39 points, you should win. Did the defense travel with the team?

Its so nice to see Randy Shannon shaking the hands of opposing coaches again without tears in his eyes--I think Butch Davis had 12 men on the field when they intercepted on the last play of the game and I think Bobby Bowden had the mascot do a rain dance to hinder that powerful offense so now I think Urban Meyer can rest knowing that he really didn't run it up on THUG U--They really arent't that good

I agree with you--I was in Lauderdale last weekend and was given a few seats to the game and it was a disgrace how the Miami Cane fans can't understand that their team has to come to grips that when they lose there is such a word as sportsmanship but its what's taught them by their coaching staff--I will never go to another Miami game even if the seats are free

You have a freshman QB that shows plenty of potential...why would you continuously pull him out in the second quarter before any flow is really established?

Any intelligent coach will tell you this is a stupid idea...

Shannon needs to be moved to defensive coordinator/recruiter whatever but he is no HEAD COACH..too many bad decisions. Maybe as defensive coordinator he can address the crap secondary efforts...

Oh yeah, and Shields, you gotta catch the fugging ball

Keep coaching them up! Give it time, we'll get there. While coverages suffer mabe more blitz packages need to be used?

Brandon Harris(#1) on defense- really sucks. Can't tackle or keep up with the receivers. No wonder we are losing to teams.

Its gonna be a long year. No doubt about it. While there have been flashes of brillance, they have unfortunately been too few and far between.

The unfortunate reality is it will take a year or two to get the Coker dead wood out of the program. Unlike Suburban Cryer, Randy did not inherit a championship team from Ron Zook, he inherited a mess caused by poor recruiting. Mix in a few coaching gaffes caused by inexperience, and here we are, having to root for LSU to wax the swamp with gator hides.

The bright spots are that there is certainly some talent there, even on defense. Sean Spence will be the next in the great line of UM LBs(Darrin Smith, Jesse Armstead, Michael Barrow, Ray Lewis, Dan Morgan, etc.), and I think Harris will be alright once he grows up a little. Benjamin is the real deal, and Marve and Jacory have both shown themselves to have some talent.

Remember in 1997 the Canes were 5-6 with Reggine Wayne and Santana Moss at WR and by 2000 they were in the hunt. So give it some time. Considering it took the Gators 85 years to win their first conference championship w/o cheating (and I know all about the Cheatin' Gators) and that their 2 c-ships were complete aberrations, I'll take a year or two of rebuilding when I know the finished product will far exceed anything that FU or Free Shoe will have in the next few years.

Do you think Randy will give the "OK" to run it up on Central Florida this week to get back in the Bowl picture?
