In earlier articles, I talked about how important this week 1 game for Notre Dame would be.

It's simple, we need to become more dynamic on offense. I liked our D but i was scared because of the past about our tackling. The DB played off a lot and I was worried that a single tackling misque would lead to big plays and let Purdue back in. Our d line was better than I expected and I think it will be a strength. If we can get a rotation going with some of the younger guys to get experience, this could be a VERY VERY good D. I am a little concerend that we had problems with Neal and Shembo cramping and out so much of the game. Manti missed on a few but he was all over the field and he is the real deal. I see Crist getting better and better, and with that, I see more and more of the play book opening up. We aren't world beaters and are going to lose some games but all in all, I saw actual improvemnet that wasn't just another years experience, it was from being coached up. We got another tough one this week and I hope that Purdue was enough of a starting point to help us improve.
