He's a project QB. We already have that with Webb, & already tried that with T-Jack.

Volume is the key they have to get the thrid round pick back trading the 12th pick makes sense especially if they go for a quarterback on the first pick. Mallett is the best quarterback in the draft who cares about the personal issues with parties with a college kid if they move back a few spots they could get Mallett and get the thrid pick back and get A grade for this year's draft

Ponder is the most NFL ready QB in the draft, and has ZERO baggage. Drop back a few spots to pick up an extra pick then take Ponder..

Blaine Gabbert. That's the right answer.

I'd trade for Carson Palmer. He's been stuck in that pit of Bengal hell for way to long. He's just as durable or more than McChoke.

I'd also trade down enough to get back that 3rd rounder. I'd draft the most talented player wherever I pick regardless of position. That's what they did with AP, and Harvin, and look what they got.

Arm chair QB's UNITE!

Just pick the best player available. I'd like to see a list of Viking draft picks after they have traded down. I don't seem to recall them being very good moving in that direction. Am I wrong?

Gabbert is not the answer. He had his hands full when he played Nebraska. In fact he never had a victory over the Huskers.

Outside of QB, I say our biggest need is OL. Every QB that played last year was running for their life or getting planted into the ground every other play. Actually OL is probably the top priority since no QB can stay healthy behind that porous line. Mckinney and Loadholt are way to slow, they need to move in and get some good pass blockers on the outside. Then I would say secondary, we have gotten torched for years and need some help there. Third is DL, and that is only if we are going to loose guys.

Locker is way overhyped. Arizona stomped the Huskies 44-14 last year - Locker completed only 50 percent of his passes and was 4-13 on third down passing attempts. He stunk. Tavaris is better than this guy.

After watching our QB's run for their lives the past couple of seasons I think it would be a good idea to beef up the front line. Also, maybe they can open up a few holes for AP.

Draft the best O-lineman. You cannot throw a pass if you're on your back all the time.

Who cares? The vikings will NOT get a new stadium and will be moving to LA. For crying out loud you guys desperately need to get a life outside the vikings.
