Running of the Bulls
One week removed from acknowledging his promotion to starting quarterback for Matt Grothe - South Florida's career leader in total offense who suffered a torn ACL last week - redshirt freshman B.J. Daniels made the most of his debut this past Saturday.

Was it B.J. Daniels that made the most of it, or the FSU defense that made the most of it for him? Got to give him credit though, he and USF as a team made less mistakes, and that is often the team that wins.

Daniels is legitimate. He went to Lincoln High School here in Tallahassee. The local talent is very competitive. The best of the HS students usually gets a full ride at one of the in-state schools. It's very competitive to get that opportunity. Although Daniels did not get that FSU scholarship, USF chose him. He drove Mickey Andrews crazy.

Not doubting Daniels, but he was like 8-21, that is losing QB numbers. However the FSU defense, made him look good. His legs are ready to be a starting dual threat QB, but not his arm yet. That is unless FSU #22 helps him out. He will be good, but he would not have looked good last week against most defenses.
