I like the idea of pushing back the start of practice.
While it is true that a large number (if not a majority) of athletes in big name sports (football, basketball) at big name schools (FSU, UF, UM, etc) are in extremely easy majors, some of the players are majoring in things that are extremely difficult even for people NOT on a sports team. These football players spend the entire fall juggling football practice & courseload, and therefore usually have to work extra hard in the classroom during the Spring semester because they didn't have time to study as much as a normal student in the fall. And for those students, Spring Break is a MUCH needed break, so it wouldn't be really fair to take it away from them. Heck, I'm ready for Break and I'm just a regular student at UF, not an athlete.

Also, with FSU's current WR situation, I am glad my boy Willie chose to go there.
Sure, I would have loved for him to come to UF, as he originally wanted, but the truth is he wouldn't have played much here, whereas he will have a great chance in Tally.
