The good news is I actually had hope that FSU had a chance to win going into the game (unlike most big games recently). The bad news is that I was very wrong. OU as always is a top notch program, and FSU was over matched, Ponder fell flat on his face. He did not look like a Heisman worthy QB at all, and by the way any chance he had at winning it vanished in Norman last Saturday. That being said FSU still has a lot of talent (the problem is they are almost all underclassmen). The lack of experience was exposed, I just hope that unlike the last several years, we will take this beating and learn from it. I still think FSU can win 8 or 9 games and then a possible bowl win. (hopefully I am not over estimating our abilities again).
