I am a Buckeye fan through and through. I am sooo thrilled that they won the Rose Bowl, and most of the guys are coming back however....all the National Champ talk is premature imo. It would be great indeed but lets get a few games under our belts before we make reservations for the game. Go Bucks!!!

You are right MOM ! Next year they have to play Miami, in Columbus, Wisconsin, in Madison (no easy task for danged sure) Iowa, in Iowa City. As well as a few other programs that are rapidly improving: Purdue, Michigan, etc. IF they make IT through all of them, I think they will be battle worthy !

When PSU upsets Alabama and then we beat them that'll really help our ranking.

But, if Bama starts out #1 and Ohio State starts out #2, the odds on them playing for the national championship is very very VERY slim, in deed....to say the least! LOL

Yes, Alabama is the favorite. But look at the starting quarterbacks who were injured the past season. Tebow had a concussion. McCoy was pulled out of the championship game. Bradford got injured early in the season. I know Iowa lost its starter before their big showdown with Ohio State. The assumption that all players will stay healthy for 12-14 games will be severely tested. If Alabama loses its quarterback, is there a backup who can fill in? What about Ohio State or Penn State? Who will play if Pryor sprains his knee more severely? As for the Gators, it's a rebuilding process for the quarterback position. Those guys get hit by linemen who are 280-300+ lbs every game and can still run the 40 yard dash in about 5 seconds.
