Come now, there's no reason to pitch a fit and write the most insanely idiotic article ever JUST because you and the rest of the nation have been FORCED to realize that the Big Ten and the SEC are NOT really all they are built up to be, and are CERTAINLY not the only conferences worthy of recognition on the face of this planet. See you in Miami (hopefully to clobber another one of our overrated Big Ten or SEC teams)!!!!!!

You are a complete moron. I dont need to give me reason's why you are wrong on your vote, you already know them.

good try Scott. Good try. The very fact that you cannot assess teams by watching them means you have no business being around football to begin with, let alone being an AP voter

great topic!...but I failed to see how you logically came to this conclusion on why those teams should be 1,2,3.

What is Scott's bias against USC? Probably is his revenge against being denied acceptance to USC!!!! Clearly Scott does not get it! USC posts two resounding victories over two schools who played New Year's day or better appearances last season while Georgia posts victories over teams even UCLA could handle, and another victory by seven points over a team they should destroy. Even though Ohio State was without its highly touted Running back, their highly regarded defense could not stop USC's powerful and well stocked offensive machine. When you are one of three (out of 64 total) who fail to see the obvious, maybe you are in the wrong line of work.

You have a point, but your defensiveness is revealing. And while opinions are just opinions, we PAC 10 (Pac 8) fans are sensitive about the historical negative attitude of Eastern sportswriters in commenting on USC> It was only three years ago, for crying out loud, that Keith Jackson finally gave USC some unqualified compliments. I guess Michigan and "The Dogs" (Washington) had to get really bad before Jackson could bring himself to publically compliment the Trojans without any apparent qualification. Given the patent bias demonstrated over years, the fact that USC currently received 57 and 61 votes in the respective polls is nothing less than striking. I don't know if they will win the National Championship because they have dropped games even in their best years, but your defensiveness, in my opinion reflects a visceral need to criticize the Trojans.
