Tressel has shown he is one of the best coaches to ever coach at Ohio State. Back to Back to Back BigTen titles (first time since 1947)4 straight wins vs Michigan (best all time in Ohio State history). Now they will wait for the other teams ranked ahead of them to faulter (Oregon lost, Oklahoma lost so far). Ohio State will be ranked #5 this coming week with 2 weeks remaining in the season. GO Buckeyes!!!!

USC in the Rose Bowl would be a much tougher matchup than whoever plays in the Big Easy. I ask you, Buckeye Nation, do you want the best or the rest?

Ohio State now has a 50% chance of playing for the the national title this year if it comes to pass WVU will likely be the opponent and will be favored if the matchup is finalized in the next few weeks. WVU runs the same spread offense as the Illini except the WVU QB is an even better runner. Not an easy game at all in terms of matchups with their offense. However, I like how OSU offense matches up with the WVU defense. We will see what happens in the next few weeks. WVU had better not overlook Pitt. They (Pitt) are expected to lose to WVU but will be looking to play hard and WVU better be ready to play.

USC is playing very well right now and would be a tough game for Ohio State but the key to beating USC is getting pressure on their QB. He IS their weakest link. However the same could be said about Ohio State. With all of this in mind Ohio State would have to play Tressel ball with USC (grind it out on the ground and burn clock) to have a chance to beat them in a game that would be basically a home game for USC.
