It is going to be great to see the two teams play each other, no matter the outcome. Don't underestimate Ohio State, but USC fans and the depth of the USC team appear to be unstoppable. Los Angeles does love it's college teams as does Columbus, but the game is at the Coliseum and my dinner bet for OSU to beat USC looks like a bet made out of loyalty to my alma mater. Go Buckeyes.

In The 60's Oklahoma was #1 but wasn't permitted to play a major bowl one year due to recruiting violations. Instead they had to play a Florida team that prior to that year had been hardly noticed. Oklahoma's players were faster, bigger, stronger and more talented. It was sure to ber a rout. The Florida team was led by a smallish black quarterback who ran the option with perfection. His read of the defense permitted him to wait until they were committed before taking the neglected option. It turned out to be a rout, but it was Florida who won!
You know the famous coach's name and really know the school by now-so I won't bore you with such details.
Suffice it to know that football is just like the game of chess. No matter the quality of the player pieces it come down to the coach. USC just has the better coach!
Sorry 'bout that.

"Don't underestimate Ohio State..." If you did, don't worry. They were unable to score a touchdown.

"Can USC-Ohio State contest live up to the hype, darma?" Why yes it can, 35-3 worth. I thought it was going to be a low scoring game,...well, I was half right. USC aint ranked #1 for nothing.

What a freakin' embarrassment.
Where is this great offensive line Ohio State is supposed to have? That great left tackle, Alex Boone, is way overrated. I remember how Florida just ran right by him all night. The Trojans did the same.
I really think Tressel has a helluva lot of work to do. And I'd start by letting Pryor be the starter.

I wanted SC to KO Pryor. They came clse a couple of times but didn't get clean head shots. Maybe next year. The other QB was spitting out grass a few times. I'm sure he hurts hurts this morning...

What a joke. OSU is now on same list with ND, and Michigan. Programs that have hit rock bottom and have to rebuild.. Starting with the coaching job.

Why would you want Terrelle Pryor to get a head injury. I dearly don't like the Trojans, but I would never wish for something to happen to Mark Sanchez.

I am not an ohio state fan ... at all. In fact, I loathe the school. It was good to see that the Los Angeles Police let the entire USC defense out of jail to play in this game. Poodle head is the model of integrity.

We will wait when USC travels to Columbus! They will be destroyed! Notes and preparation have begun for that game!

By half-time, we knew the defense had adjusted and the hits would keep coming. The Ohio crowd was large and vast but by the end of this game, we all knew that the better team would prevail.

Ohio, thanks for the memories. I do feel your pain- traveling all those miles to put up a field goal. If I were you guys, I would stick to 1 qb and would blitz more often but hey, Im just a fan.

Best of luck the rest of the season. Fight on!

Man, as much as I hate u.s.c. they're gonna be tough to beat this year. I think thay had their toughest test of the season and they passed with flying colors. On the flip-side, what a horrendous job Tressel did coaching yesterday, it was obvious that Pryor is the better quarterback of the two. Boeckman reminded me of Ben Olson, he has absolutely no mobility what-so-ever. When Pryor was in the game, the Bucks looked like they actually had a chance to win the game, and as soon as he would come out they looked extremely vulnerable, Pryor deserves to be the starter. Looks like u.s.c. is on it's way to the BCS title game, hands down.

Re: the HYPE it did for USC.

MH Dude and UCLA Rob can you believe how quickly the O-line has gelled with four new starters?

No another note WTF happened in Provo yesterday....after going to the UCLA vs Tennessee game I would not imagined in a million years that BYU would have done that.

I thought it was a misprint, any way UCLA will have better days guys~!

You have good coaches, you just need the athletes. Your defense is not the problem, it's your offense IMO.

Take care,

I was excited to see USC win big but I actually wanted to experience a closer game. If Wells would have played, it might have been a little closer but USC just is way more talented. Hopefully, USC can sustain this the rest of the year, we do not need another Stanford, Oregon State or UCLA type of upset. On another note, I was rather surprised at how genuine the Ohio State fans were. I think next year if Wells comes back, the USC vs. OSU game might live up to the hype. Pryor should start the rest of the season, the kid has superstar written all over him.
