Another win against a mediocre opponent, but I just can't help but feel disappointed after the last two weeks. I'm ready for this program to turn the corner and become an annual contender, not just when the league is "having a down year". If only the team preparation and execution was as good against Michigan and Ohio St. as it was against Iowa...

Preparation and execution always look good when you have superior talent. It's not so good when the other team has superior talent.

Give us Michigan at home, and we would slaughter the crap out of them. Perdue will win out, and the Wolverines will lose out.

Beautiful day in West Lafayette, and a dominating performance by the Boilers. UM and OSU are behind us, time to win out!

Big win... I agree that the two losses still sting, but all we can do now is win the games that are left. 75 and sunny at Ross Ade and a PU win! Doesn't get much better than that.

The most beautiful day I can remember watching a football game at Ross Ade. And a win! Shoot for 9 or even 10 wins this year. Boiler Up!

A good win for Purdue, a team that Purdue should have beaten. The Bucket game should be great this year!

To all the haters - I'd rather see us beat the teams we should and lose to UM and OSU than vice versa.

Nice win today, we owed Iowa and paid them back well. Winning is all about execution, and Purdue was just overmatched in the last two games. Tiller has given us a consistent winner. Even if we only beat the "bad" teams, before he was the coach those teams beat us annually.

Purdue has beaten OSU twice under Tiller. 3 of the 5 losses to OSU under Tiller have gone down to the very end of the game.

While Purdue has not been that competitive against the Wolverines, few teams have been.

Chill out and enjoy the win and the rest of the season.

Well, it's a start.
We need another month of this. The defensive pressure was fine today, but we've got to have a little more verticle passing. NU will be a test with respect to their offense matching ours, then PSU is always tough for Purdue on the road.
Big games upcoming, go boilers! Get it together, already!

Tiller will get this team to post another 8-4 record with another mid-tier bowl loss. That's what he does. It's a heck of a lot better than the mid-80's through the mid-90's, but who cares. In a year where all the nobodys are rising up and beating the somebodys, Purdue is the norm. Oh well. At least we're the best team in the state.

Painter showed flashes of being a top Big Ten QB.But he needs to settle down just a bit more,he tends to get "happy feet" on occasion and hurries his throws. The rest of the team looked very good(still room for improvement),but overall a very nice win!! GO BOILERS!!!
