For the first time this year, we played a half of football where you could win," he said. "That's closer to winning football."
Whatever Weis! You are arrogant and greedy. I lost all respect for you when you sued the doctors for money! Even though it was your fault. And bringing in brady has a character witness for no reason shows you are pathetic.

Go Notre Dame Basketball! At least that coach has class!

I'm still trying to figure out why Weis didn't go with Sharpley in the first place. It's his team and Jimmy's got to learn from this veteran how to win. Clausen isn't ready and Sharpley needs to lead this team right now!!!!!!!!!! Please Charlie, let him finish what he's started.

I think we have a great shot at beating the buckeyes...our defense is good if they get there rest..our offense can't go 3 and out and give the other team good feild position. I think if we can put up point against the Buckeyes...we will win. Instead of sayin a Purdue colapse towards the end i think we have to give credit to ND.

Hmmmm, Weis getting excited and saying it is closer to winning a football game just for scoring in the second half against Purdue. That is what Central Michigan and Minn. did.
I pray that Purdue's defense is ready to play the WHOLE game next week (and also the off.) Ohio St. is too good of a team to relax in the second half and expect to win. It would be great to be 6-0 going into the Big House.

ND could have been competative the whole game if Jabba the Weis would have started Sharpley. Charlie couldn't even see that Clausen was hurt and couldn't play. Weis dosn't have clue.

Purdue fans are unbelieveably clueless. Congratulations, you just beat a pathetic Notre Dame team and for the 5th week in a row beat a cupcake. Good luck next week when that string soft games ends. Enjoy your .500 record in the big ten and another trip to the Sun Bowl. Does anyone acutally watch that game on tv?? I've never seen a more pathetic environment for college football than what I saw today at the game. Painter is an average quarterback at best, just a product of the system, just like Orton was.

He does, indeed. But that doesn't mean a thing anymore. It really doesn't. The rings are evidence Weis is a masterful offensive coordinator on the pro level. But he's going to have to win a bowl game or two before he shows how good he is as a college head coach.

Having said that, I do think the Irish looked better the past two weeks than in the first three weeks. They still have a HUGE uphill climb ahead of them the next three weeks, but at least they look better.

That post was pathetic. Any true college football fan would give props to Purdue no matter what. Good game Makers, even if it was against a down ND team. Purdue will have a great season and for ND, keep ya heads and fight.
