Win your first game first, then the second, then the third, then the 4th and so on before you even consider yourselve BSC contenders. Ya got a couple lucky wins lst year, your best defensive player is gone and the man that was going to try and fix the QB problem is gone. There is work to be done a lot of it before LSU should even put themselves in that category. If they beat Oregon soundly then maybe there is room for them being in the discussion but honestly at this point I don't even see them in the top 3 in a weaker SEC much less the top 3 in the country. They should have a great d, they always do but they are going to need more than that. In the traditionally low scoring SEC that is ok but a lot of teams are changing their offensive game plans and there should be a lot more quick strike teams. Bama is in a similar boat with the exception that they have an established running game, they only have to get the young QB's a little experience in the passing game.

You're not even close Dan.

Peterson is gone, but his replacements are young and almost as good today with 4 more years ahead! Also, While Kragthorpe may have stepped down as OC he is still the QB coach and very much involved with the offense.

LSU is very much in the discussion for the BCS this year and the next 4 after that with the talent they currently have and they are locking down some great talent for next year already!

LSU's Freshmen and Sophomores are as talented or more talented than any other teams Juniors and Seniors! It's going to be a great year!

Can't wait for Sept. 3rd!

LSU may, or may not, win the national championship, but one thing we can say for certain is that Neuter Dumb will not.

What's the difference between a Notre Dame alumnus' wedding and a Notre Dame alumnus' funeral?

One less drunk!

well last year you said that we wouldn't win enough games to go to a bowl, you said that we wouldn't beat Utah, you said that we wouldn't beat USC and then after getting into a bowl, you said that we would be slaughtered by Miami......Of course you hid. You were wrong every single time you made a prediction. Maybe you should switch predicting the winner of kickball matches in Elem. schools or something. It is obvious that you know nothing about college football. Have a nice day and don't try again. All that failure has to be killing your self esteem.
