As an SEC fan living in the heart of Big 12 land, I see the Murray injury as an excuse for Chokelahoma fans when they get pounded by the Gators.Murray would have had as much impact as did Jason White did against USC..No factor at all.
The sooners have what we call SEC fans as having Big 12 talent.
When a top Big 12 team faces a top from the SEC there is no way they can win.The Gators have way to much speed and power for Chokelohama to handle....You ou fans will be living in a dream world thinking you have a chance until the night of the game. After the game you will get huge dose of reality just like you had before playing USC.....You have no idea what kind of team you are about to run into.A REAL team, with a REAL defense, and REAL athletes. No weak Big 12 school in this game only the best football players in the nation.
Go Gators!!!!

I feel bad for Murray missing the NC game, however, he hasn't been the same since last year's injury vs Texas Tech. Watching him this year it appeared that he lost a step (maybe two) and never really got it back. He showed spurts later in the year, but the home run step he had last year is gone. The only aspect the Sooners will miss will be his game experience and hands out of the backfield. Saying that, I think Madu can more than handle the situation and we will have no excuses going up against the Gators January 8.

As the name states I'm a Wolverine fan so I have been saying "There is always next year..." after about the third week of the season. Big Blue got pummeled this year, but I guess that is for another forum. When OU loos..... I mean If OU doesn't win this game this will be the reason that they give and don't forget Sam Bradford is not 100%. Stoops might have a hangnail or some other kinda injury. But remember "There is always next year..."
