It was a bogus call, period, as was the call against LSU as the refs tried to make things right. The officiating crew should somehow be sanctioned.

Yeah, they made things right, alright!!! And, it even allowed Georgia 2 1/2 times longer to score than it took LSU to score. When Georgia scored that TD, there was 1:09 left on the clock. Exactly 20 seconds later, LSU scored the go ahead TD to make it 18-13; then made the two-poing conversion to make it 20-13.

Georgia had 49 seconds left on the clock to move the ball the same distance LSU did. LSU was penalized too; and I agree that neither penalty should've been called. But, they were; and it balanced the situation out except that Georgia had 2 1/2 times longer to score. They had 49 seconds to move the ball the same distance as LSU did in just 20 seconds. Georgia should stop whining and go on.

There were other bad calls in the game, like when Cox got caught in his own endzone and he just threw the ball up in the air. NO ONE was near the ball and it didn't pass the line of scrimmage. It should've been 8-7 at that point, LSU. But, I wasn't whining about that. I was just hoping LSU could drive down the field in 1:09 and play solid defense in the last 49 seconds of the game and they did. I believe it was Peterson (#7) that intercepted a Cox pass on the sideline to seal the LSU victory.

So, stop whining Georgia and go on with your life.:) If it would've been reversed, LSU wouldn't have whined. Calls balance out most of the time. In this case, I believe it balanced more in Georgia's favor; and they're whining just because they lost. Calls are part of the game anyway, whether they go your way or their way!!!:)

I'm not griping because I'm a Georgia fan. In fact I am not a UGA fan or an LSU fan. I just like college football, especially at the highest level. It was a typical SEC game, with lots of straight up defense and neither team giving an inch. I just hated to see the refs make those calls at the end of what was, until then, an excellent game.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Capricorn

You'll have a fabulous time if you're longing to see what's on offer in the sales, especially if you want to buy yourself some new clothes or cosmetics. However, you won't pay much attention to how much you're spending, and may even deliberately avoid thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and don't go overboard if you can't afford it.
