What a lousy story.
Who's trailer is it? What company?
What was in the trailer besides the pot?
What have the Feds, the State Troopers, and the EPPD done to prepare for a potential raid to recover the pot by the owners?
Journalism 101 - Rule #1 - Give the El Paso Public the Chisme Entero
They should've sent the driver back to Juarez on foot - Why keep him here? Send the trailer back empty, too. It's easy to identify now, if they try to use it again. Junk the truck, burn the pot, and wait for the next load, cuz you know it's coming. US consumption is at an all-time high, and US Citizens are a spoiled bunch that don't like to be kept "unsupplied".

USA are the drug problem. With increasing amount of parents raising whiny, self-centered, self absorbed and indulged kids, what does society expect? Their chiples want their pot, crack and cocaine, the cartels are more than willing to supply the masses.
Right now some loser is snorting cocaine powder and some one is paying the consequences...and someone is probably getting riddled with lead or an authority figure is being bribed to look the other way.
Legitimizing drugs would not solve the drug consumption nor the addiction. The problem is society's addiction.
