No change at Ohio State QB on two-deep chart

Sep 19, 2011 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: USA Today

Ohio State released its weekly game notes on Monday afternoon. As they have throughout the young season, they continue to list Joe Bauserman and Braxton Miller as co-starters. They also list Jordan Hall and Carlos Hyde as co-starters - also designated as "OR" on the two-deep chart on page seven - at tailback.

gimme a break!! ANY QB or WR who puts on a Buckeye uniform should be able to complete a few passes----experience or not!!----these are some of the top players in the country!---are QB's Bauserman & Miller really that bad?--or are the WR's just not good enough to get open!! no excuses---this is OSU---many freshman play big time football all over the country---I've never seen such poor QB & WR performances---coaches must develop and put the best TALENT on the field---or they should not be coaching---mistakes will be made, of course, but this type of talent should be better prepared and able to make some plays---the running game and defense were good enough to beat miami---if only we had a (QB & WR) that could complete a pass a few times!!!

Bauserman can't complete passes when there are no receivers open. He's not a great QB but neither is Miller at this point. They will have to share time.
We all need to remember that if it weren't for the suspensions and Pryor exit, our recruiting strategy was fine. OSU didn't recruit top rated QB's because we had Pryor. Not to mention, no top notch QB was going to commit to OSU knowing he would sit behind TP. Tress recruited Miller at the right time so he would have one year to learn the system behind TP, then start. This all got messed up with the tattoo scandal. Now we have to deal with the problem of getting the QB and all new receivers up to speed. It won't happen year one. We will take our lumps this year, Fickel will get replaced (fairly or unfairly) and we will move forward and be atop the Big Ten again by 2013 season. After a Nat Championship win in Jan. 2014, all will be forgotten! Keep in mind, LSU, Aub,and Bama all have pending ncaa violations against them. They are all playing cover up at the moment but they will get busted soon enough. No conference cheats like the SEC and everyone knows it. The NCAA and groups like Yahoo are starting to uncover their "ways" and you will see major program suspensions coming.
