So much for the vaunted SEC. KY was lucky, Bama got smoked and OU will kick FU's butt.

And what was the score back on Nov. 29th? Oh yeah, 45-15. Typical FSU fan: get somebody else (in this case Oklahoma) to fight battles your own sorry a*s team can't win. Why not just go fellate the horse after whom you are (screen) named loser boy?

Way to go UTES. Saban can lose any time anyone can defeat him. He deserves all the aggravation another team can give him. The Utes should be playing the Gators in the biggie bowl. The Gators will romp all over. Tebow will have a field day and so will Harvin. Look for another blow out.

How about Ole Miss? They just happened to beat Texas Tech when they were given no chance. UF will do the same thing to Oklahoma next week. Go cry in your beer for you will be even more depressed. You should worry about the ACC, not the SEC who continually kick your butt. Get a life, you are looking for any excuse to denigrate the SEC or anyone else who beat your Semiholes.

another BCS system busted. Utah has a case to play OU or UF for the title. heres how the playoff shoud have worked.

1)UF
2)OU
3)bama
4)USC
5)PSU
6)UTAH

UF and OU get a 1st rd pass. So now utah plays usc and the winner of that plays winner of UF/OU for the title.

As a lifelong gator fan I have to say the Utes were VERY impressive in their win over Bama. Just one more reason a playoff system is needed. How does a team go undefeated and have no chance at the title? I still think the Gators would beat them, but they certainly deserve a shot at the title!

Obviously Utah is the best team currently. They should be #1 as that 13-0 season is no fluke. They own the best record and they proved they can whip the best, go Utes.

It was 4 years ago when Utah was last in a BCS bowl game and won. Meyer and about 1/4 of that Utah staff came to UF. The Defensive coordinator was promoted to head coach. Utah has a good football program, 8 straight bowl wins. Actually, when you consider the success of BYU, the state of Utah is a pretty good football state too.

Although I'm not a huge fan of the BCS bowl system, at least now the best mid-major in the country has a shot of playing in a major January bowl game vs a big-time program.

For all those SEC bashers, you may want to look at the Big 10+1 bowl record. If the Ohio State loses to Texas, we really need to consider if the Big 10 is entitled to an automatic BCS bowl bid and an at-large.

Houston Nutt is a GOOD coach. It's Houston Nutt who popularized the Wild-"Insert Team Mascot" formation that is even being used in the NFL. Remember, Arkansas with Houston Nutt beat LSU in triple OT at Baton Rouge during their 2007 national championship season.

Like Tony Dungy, he did such a good job raising the bar for the program, that the fans were no longer happy with him and pushed him out.

It's going to be tough for Ole Miss to consistently compete with Bama and LSU. With Houston Nutt staying in the SEC West, it's going to make it a lot tougher to get to Atlanta.

The BCS sucks. Utah should be champs. Yawn.
This game will be long forgotten by next Friday morning when the voters decide on the winner of the national title. Don't believe me? Watch Sportscenter around 1PM today and see how much coverage Utah has then. Utes, you'll belong (again) to the high quality 12--0 and 13-0 teams that have bragging rights and no hardware. Ask Penn State, Auburn, Utah 2004, Boise State, etc. how it feels.

Typical response by a "typical gator fan." With all the proper grammer and sentence construction, probably a UF grad at that! Showing all that superior "class."

So Utah beat an Alabama team who was without their best player due to a violation of team rules and now they're the best team in the country? Congrats on beating an undermanned 'Bama team now join a real conference where you have to get up for every game and see what happens. Utah would be the fourth best team in the big 10 this year and this is their best team ever!

As far as the people pissing on the SEC, the conference is still 5-2 in bowl games, so you may want to tone down the SEC sucks arguments.

Hey Pete, Where are ya man??! I wanted to ask what you thought of that "dynamic" Texas Tech team yesterday.. You know.. that same Big 12 team who was heavily favored (97% of America's votes) to win. How many points did they give up to one of our "rinky dink SEC offences" anyway, huh?? 47?! Wow! I would say I told you so but that might sound kinda childish.. so I'll just say what I have said all along. Big12= No Defense. Big12= An offence that gets rattled by facing a good defense. Looking forward to the 8th!! Another over-hyped Big12 team gets sent home with their tail between their legs!

By the way.. Congrats Utah! I love seeing Nick Satan heading into the tunnel with his head down after a loss!

Grammer? Really? D*uche bags who live in glass houses should not throw stones, as the correct spelling is g-r-a-m-m-a-r.
