Tuberville's Texas Tech struggling in his 1st year

There are 5 comments on the Pasadena Star-News story from Oct 20, 2010, titled Tuberville's Texas Tech struggling in his 1st year. In it, Pasadena Star-News reports that:

Tommy Tuberville is mad and he hopes Texas Tech fans are, too. The first-year coach is 3-3. The last time Texas Tech had that record was 2001, the second year under Tuberville's pass-happy predecessor, Mike Leach, who led the program to 10 straight bowl appearances.

When do we upgrade to a better chancellor and board of regents? After Gov. Rick Perry is shown the door on Nov. 2nd!

"We have upgraded with a better coach and we're going through some tough times right now," Hance said. "But we have the utmost confidence in him. He's a proven winner, and I think we just have to have patience to build the program the way we want it to be.

What is Hance smoking? Upgraded? Tech would be 6-0 if Leach were still there. I wonder if he even realizes he lacks and/or losses all credibility when actions don't meet words. I look forward to Hance's spin when TTU has to pay him $800,000 to $2,000,000 when he wins in court.

Tech has become a boring mediocre team simply because of politics. Its time for Kent Hance to resign.

So the players "love" the coaches. The coaches take care of the players and love them back unconditionally. What could be better? How about winning more than a few fricking games???? Seems like although he may have acted like a jerk, at least Leach knew how to make the team produce. Too bad Tuberville hasn't figured it out yet. Well, at least the players love him. Guess that's good enough for the Tech administration.

You guys need to take a chill. Tuberville is a great coach and will right your ship soon enough. If you wait until he gets some of his recruits in there and sets that squad up to his liking, you will be happy with the results.

I am an Auburn fan and most of us liked Tuberville. Hell, he won- his percentage was over .800. Look at how well Chizik is doing with Tuberville's players... You have a good coach and need to stop whining about the short term and get behind him. He will deliver, I promise.
