Only a self-destructive psychopath like Leach could screw up an $800,000 bonus days before it was to be paid.
I hope the chance to play "bad ass" was worth the 800K to this fool.

Watch the University pay him a settlement out of court, then turn around and screw the students by raising their tuition, more than previously planned.

That's what NMSU did when Neil McCarthy was fired, and he sued.

Thankfully, NMSU learned, when it came time to get rid of Hal Mumme, and they waited for his contract to expire, then chose not to renew it.

Bottom line, The Texas Tech students will be the ones paying.
