The most important question here is whether or not Craig James used his position and influence as an ESPN analyst and on air host to bring pressure to bear on the university in favor of his son - which resulted in the firing of Coach Leach. Texas Tech seems to be throwing out a lot of assertions and accusations, but little evidence of wrong doing. Craig James should probably be suspended from ESPN broadcasts pending an internal investigation by ESPN. If Craig James used his position with ESPN to get Leach fired, then Craig James should be fired! I worked for a media station once were one of the on air hosts used his position in a similar way - and that media entity ended up firing the on air host. A neutral, third party investigation should be under way at this point.
