Not thinking negative about the rose bowl but if Clark does get hurt, Cianciolo can do a good job. I remember watching michigan 2 years ago when morrelli and clark both went down. The bar I was at you couldn't hear the game so when paul came in I thought they put back in morrelli. After a few plays I told the table boy Morreli looks better after getting knock around but of course it was Cianciolo. Morale of the story take the ten Points and PSU you be glad you did. Don't listen to the trojan sore!

Tom, you're thinking of the 2004 Wisconsin game, when Erasmus James knocked Michael Robinson silly. I believe Mills was the other injured QB. And in that game, it was Chris Ganter who finished up at QB.

It was much the same situation as last year's Michigan game, when Morelli and Clark went out in succession and Cianciolo finished up the game.

Not quite the same situation in 2004 Mills was injured prior to the game, Michigan knocked out both QBs during the game and in Carr's last three seasons a key player received either a game ending or season ending injury in 70% of the Michigan games. Five were QBs with concussions. The pattern was too specific for me to believe that it was just hard nose football. I wonder why when listening to so may of the games, I kept hearing the announcers repeating, "that was close to a late hit on the QB", yet very few flags were ever thrown.

Penn State, 2010, can go all the way with Kevin Newsome as the quarterback with an impressive group of teammates at his side. "We are---Penn State!"
