Doesn't seem that long ago we were watching Brewster's futility and looking forward to watch the Gopher hoopsters and having a reason to smile. Ha! This team has become painfully unwatchable. How will a new practice facilty help our ball handling and terrible offense? Will it have bigger rims????

When you look at Hoffarber's scoring numbers since he moved to the PG position, I bet a lot of Nolen haters are starting to understand the true role of a PG as well as how hard that position is to play. Too bad it takes a complete implosion for people to learn lessons about D-I basketball that they should already know.

No way Nolen returns to "save" this season. His best bet is to focus on rehabbing that foot and life after Gopher basketball.

"For us, we really have to stay hungry, carry the momentum we had at the end of this game," said Sampson. "We know we can do it. We just have to come together as a team and set our sights on winning the next game. This season is definitely not over."

Uh, Ralph. You don't look very hungry out there, especially with :30 seconds left in the game and that weak arse attempt at rebounding--that's when hunger should set in, not when Armelin starts a rally and you just hoped on for a ride. Put your money/mouth where your heart should be and get some damn guts, son.

It's clear that Tubby is a bust and is not going to be winning any more championships. The KY fans were right about him
