Dragovic seems like a really shy guy in person but apparently when he is drinking he gets violent. I think it is time to kick him off the squad. I am really surprised UCLA is struggling this much this season. Even with a lot of players leaving the last couple years, they still have a lot of talent on paper and should be blowing out teams like Fullerton and Bakersfield. If they continue to play this poor, the Pac 10 is going to eat them alive.

DA is a SCum graduate. Expect to see more of these types of "arrests" and "investigations" in the future.

If he played for USC Trutanich and his puppermaster DA Steve Cooley would have gotten him OFF sure fire.

Our strange city attorney made his career defending criminals like rapists, woman beaters and worse - whatever Dragovich did at some concert would have been NOTHING for him. The Nooch was on Pete Carroll's speed dial as "the fixer," the USC sports program was even investigated by the NCAA for having the Nooch on retainer, there were so many football team members he had to defend for violent acts that sound worse and more intentional that what Dragovich might have done. The Nooch/ Trutanich was popular because of his "juice" with the DA's office - often getting them off before felony charges were filed, what some call influencen peddling.

For 4 months in 2005 he even worked as Special Assistant to City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo, during which he did the same for a private client who was booked on misdemeanour battery and might have been facing a felony, but got his client off - having "quit' his law practice in Long Beach for that short time - then went back to his full-time lucrative practice defending more rapists, thugs and big corporate toxic polluters.

Too bad Dragovich doesn't have a lawyer who knows how to milk "juice" in the D A's and City Attorney's offices. Of course, Trutanich hmself is the city attorney and decloined to file misdemeanor charges at an earlier occasion - maybe in a gesture to a fellow Serbian - but that's not enough this time.

The client referred to that the Nooch got off in 05 while working for Rocky, coming and going between the city attorney's office as go-between with the DA Cooley's office, for the few months he was technically "resigned" from his own practice for 4 months, July-Oct. or Nov. 2005, was of course another USC jock accused of a felony.

Read all about it in the USC sports blog, look up his name with the time, also google Trutanich in USC's own online Journalism School blog neontommy.com and see what's up. He AND Cooley are big USC jocks to this day - tho he stopped being on speed dial when it's alleged his own daughter didn't get into the school and he felt he was owed.

Kinda too bad that what passes for "reporters" in this town refused to report the facts of the Nooch's past and how he got his name, BEFORE we got stuck with him as city attorney of all things!
