Let's hope someone else can do UCONN's dirty work for them because it wouldn't appear that they will ever beat Pitt. Other previous great UCONN teams have always had trouble with Pitt.

Gosh, I'd love to see Young end up with the Celtics. His versatile offensive game reminds me of Paul Pierce's -- except that Young is more athletic, sleeker, and faster. Blair has received more attention than Young, but Young probably will have the more successful pro career. That said, I'd be delighted to have Blair on my team, too. The mock drafts project Young as a late first-round or early second-round selection, so he still might be available when Boston's turn comes, whereas Blair probably will have been drafted by then.

I am an avid Pitt fan and attended the game yesterday. WOW, what a game! Just a short note to thank you for giving Pitt and Sam Young an objective review!

The 3 spot has been a glaring weakness on both ends for the Huskies all season. It' no surprise that Young lit it up again.

Sam Young is, in my mind, without a doubt the most underrated player in the country.

Random side note:
I am definitely a fan of Adrien's and will miss him next year, but to constantly hear him talking about his 'hard work' he puts in, and then watch him take plays off frustrates me to no end. There were numerous times he didn't even make it back past half court. Practice what you preach! Sometimes I wish I didn't have a DVR to rewind plays. It drives me nuts!! Go UCONN!! See you thursday at MSG.

Once Pitt ventures out of the Big East officiating zones and starts to play in the real world with real referees, they'll be called for all of the seventeen fouls they committ on every possession on both ends of the court and will be eliminated long before they get to the elite eight. It's easy to knock down open jumpers when Blair plays more like an NFL lineman for forty minutes.

pnete, I think you are dreaming. Either Pitt or UConn (and possibly both)will make the final four this year because they are more talented and deeper than the competition. Both teams played tough non conference games and were undefeated. That is the reason why the coaches and the sportswriters have had physical teams like UConn and Pitt in the top 5 all year long. All of the teams in the Big East play a similar style of play - Pitt is just doing it better than most of the other teams.
