I dont think the rock is near as interesting as the graffiti looking face right below it. A human face with it's tongue sticking out.
For reference the mystery rock is sitting on the forehead of the face.
Also, whats with all the square patterns? Looks like bricks. I thought natural formations were round for the most part. Different gravity I guess?

I was expecting to find comments about "Martian Poo" but sadly was not to be.

This one appears to be a bit of a playa pan from a different dot on the Martian map (does not match the floor the rover is standing on). There should have been a meteorite impact nearby (a few Km) between the 2 pics.

Sad news is that Nasa did not maintain areophones on the landers so the quake from an impact did not register.
